About Us

Welcome to the Arakani Rohingya Scholars Forum

The Arakani Rohingya Scholars Forum (ARSF) is a global network of scholars, professionals, and activists dedicated to advancing education, human rights, and social justice for the Rohingya people. Founded on the principles of unity, knowledge-sharing, and advocacy, ARSF aims to empower the Rohingya community through educational initiatives, research, and advocacy efforts that highlight the historical and contemporary struggles of the Rohingya people.

Our Mission
At ARSF, our mission is to create a platform for the exchange of ideas, research, and resources among Rohingya scholars and activists around the world. We work to:

Promote Education: We believe in the power of education to transform lives and communities. ARSF provides educational resources, mentorship programs, and scholarships to support Rohingya students and young scholars, empowering them to pursue higher education and make positive contributions to society.

Advocate for Human Rights: Our forum is committed to amplifying the voices of the Rohingya people in their struggle for justice, recognition, and equality. We work tirelessly to raise global awareness about the persecution, displacement, and human rights violations faced by the Rohingya.

Foster Global Collaboration: ARSF brings together scholars, professionals, and organizations from diverse backgrounds to create collaborative networks that address the challenges faced by the Rohingya people. By fostering academic, social, and professional ties, we aim to strengthen the collective impact of our work.

Preserve Rohingya Culture and Heritage: We are committed to the preservation and celebration of Rohingya culture, language, and traditions. Through research, cultural initiatives, and outreach, we aim to ensure that future generations remain connected to their heritage, even in the face of adversity.

Our Vision
We envision a world where the Rohingya people are recognized for their resilience, intellect, and contributions to global society. We strive to create an environment where Rohingya scholars and activists can thrive, engage in meaningful research, and contribute to the rebuilding of their community both locally and globally.

Our Work
Research & Publications: We publish academic papers, reports, and articles that explore various issues affecting the Rohingya community, including displacement, education, human rights, and social justice. We aim to generate knowledge that can inform policy change and humanitarian efforts.

Educational Programs: We provide scholarships, mentorships, and online learning resources to young Rohingya students, encouraging them to pursue careers in education, law, medicine, and other fields that contribute to the betterment of their community.

Advocacy & Awareness: We collaborate with global human rights organizations and governmental bodies to raise awareness of the ongoing persecution of the Rohingya people. We advocate for legal and policy changes to ensure the protection and inclusion of the Rohingya in international frameworks.

Cultural and Social Initiatives: We organize cultural events, workshops, and webinars to celebrate the rich history and traditions of the Rohingya people. These initiatives help preserve our identity while creating connections with broader communities around the world.
